Sedimentary clay will become shale under growing pressure and changing temperature, but there are also quartz, debris of shale or other chemical substances in it. Ferruginous shale can be iron ore, kerogen shale can purify petroleum and black shale can be indicator stratum of petroleum. Besides those kinds of shale, it can be used as raw materials for processing brick, cement and ceramsite.

Big shale is sent to jaw crusher for coarse crushing by vibrating feeder, and then belt conveyor sends shale to impact crusher for medium or fine crushing. After secondary crushing, vibrating screen will screen materials out whose sizes satisfied customers, but those unqualified materials should be reprocessed in secondary crushing.
