Rod mill is the most common equipment in sand making production line. This machine with mature technology is used to crush materials in wet process. This finished products are well-distributed and adjustable. The production running is stable and capacity can reach 28-40t/h. and the products whose sizes are smaller than 0.16mm are 30%. But this machine takes disadvantages of big foundation, complex supporting facilities, large water consumption. It should be equipped with sewage treatment facility, and there is large steel rod consumption in the production line.

Rotary disc crusher adopts the principle called laminating crushing. Because multi-storey materials are squashed and squeezed by the associated force, stones are crushed finally. The structure of this machine is same as cone crusher’s, which belongs to cone crusher with superfine cavity. This machine can crush materials with dry process, but the products’ shape is worse than rod mill’s.
