Load state detection technology is one of the mineral processing test technology, which measures actual throughput of minerals in crushing chamber. The load of crusher can influence product’s output size, energy consumption and operation process, so it is important to test load in time. In general, when there are multiple periods for crushing, you just should do load state detection at the last crushing period which can control size of final product. The ways to test load at the last crushing period are listed as follow.
1.Get material level in crushing chamber by using electric shock material level meter directly.
2.Test the current value in circuitry of electric motor.
3.Use belt scale to weigh materials conveyed by belt conveyor.
4.Calculate circulating load in the crushing or screening closed-circuit system.
The first two methods can get the instantaneous load of crushing chamber directly, which is convenient to test and adjust. In addition, they can also unite automatic regulating device in forming automatic control system. The third method can’t reflect the instantaneous load, but it also has above advantages when adjusting specific settings. People seldom use the third method because when sizes of materials are too large, the precision of belt scale is quiet low. The fourth method only reflects average load, so it is difficult to adjust in time.
