Reducing power consumption of cement vertical mill is the most direct way to save energy. System power consumption is that quantity of electricity needed to produce raw materials of cement per ton. It consists of mainframe power consumption, auxiliary equipment power consumption and other low voltage power consumption. Mainframe power consumption includes main motor power consumption and pulverized motor power consumption. Auxiliary equipment power consumption includes exhaust blower power consumption and air compressor power consumption.

The method to reduce power consumption of cement vertical mill is as follow.

Effective and scientific maintenance method makes running rate improved, annual output stable, running cost reduced and service life prolonged.

Within the allowable range, giving full play to the performance improving the capacity at utmost can reduce system power consumption to some extent.

It is common to leak air in the grinding system. If the air leakage is serious, the load of the fan will be increased and its power consumption is also improved. So it is necessary to reduce air leakage in case influencing the quality of cement vertical mill.

Because the power consumption of fan accounts for about 20% of the whole system, reducing air volume can decrease fan energy consumption effectively.

Reducing vibration of cement vertical mill is another method. Big vibration will result in current fluctuation of main motor and not only is the capacity reduced but also the power consumption is improved.
